The Zoning Board of Appeals is a seasoned board comprised of members with varied background and experience. The Zoning Board of Appeals is charged with addressing the requests by residents to either obtain an interpretation of the zoning ordinance or zoning map designation; appeal to a type of property use for something other than what is allowed; appeal for variance to a zoning ordinance; which is generally due to the size or location of a proposed new structure. The Board has regularly scheduled meetings every second Wednesday of the month (providing there are issues presented to the board for review).
